Birth Chart Formation

The Horoscope or Birth-chart (popularly known as Janam Kundali) is a map of the heavenly bodies, which shows the positions of the planets and their relation at birth of a newborn taking into account, the time and place of birth. A birth chart is a must for any Vedic astrologer to make predictions.

The Horoscope shows the sign of Zodiac and the relative position of planets and nakshatras positioned in the twelve houses of the map. The "houses" of the chart indicate specific areas of our life in which actions will be performed, which will be strong or weak depending on the nature and situation of planets that influence them.

Computerized Horoscope
There are several precise steps that need to be followed in preparing and offering interpretations of birth charts or Horoscopes. If these steps are performed as prescribed, the result is a birth chart that can form a useful basis for interpretation. Interpretation can address a person's basic character and his future.

Therefore, the first step towards making accurate predictions of any individual is to cast his / her Horoscope using correct birth date and time of that person. This process of casting one's Horoscope is purely based on complex and deep mathematical calculations, which if done manually, will not only require lots of time but will also be error prone. However, we can make use of the modern technological marvel - the computer - to do all these calculations. Now, as we know, that the process of casting one's Horoscope will be accurate using computers, the remaining part of making predictions can be easily done by an experienced astrologer.

There are various styles or forms of Horoscope chart in vogue in different parts of the country, which may be different in their form but distinctly similar in their character.

We make the North Indian style of Horoscope: However on request a ‘South Indian Horoscope’ can be provided.

North Indian Style
The chart has 12 houses marked 1 to 12 in the diagram. The Ascendant is always in the first house at the top and order of the sign follows the anti-clockwise directions.
